We're working to decrease and eventually end the use of animals in testing and research by promoting the development of innovative and effective alternative methods.

Millions of animals suffering in laboratories need our help, including chimpanzees used in invasive research; rabbits and other animals used in a variety of testing for cosmetics and products, chemicals or for the drug approval process; and pet dogs and cats sold to research laboratories by Class B dealers. We’re working with Congress and Regulatory Agencies to support non-animal research methods and end the most egregious research practices. We’ve made great strides, but much more needs to be done to help animals used in experiments.
